CSF EDUCATION GRANTS

The purpose of the Chelmsford Schools Foundation grant program is to provide members of the Chelmsford education community with an alternative source of funding for valuable educational learning experiences or projects. The Foundation hopes to stimulate and reward creative learning initiatives that enrich the educational opportunities already available in our public schools.

Who may apply: Applicants may be Chelmsford education administrators, teachers, staff, students sponsored by certified staff, or parents sponsored by certified staff.
What to submit: Applicants must submit six (6) copies of the application form, completed in full (one original and five photocopies).
When to submit: The CSF runs Grant cycles in the Fall and in the Spring. Check the home page for annoucements about the opening of the next Grant cycle.

The Chelmsford Schools Foundation cannot accept proposals for projects more appropriately funded by the school district budget, such as large equipment, salaries, etc. Applicants may apply for partial funding from CSF and seek partial funding from other sources. The Grant Awards Committee may request an interview with the applicant as part of the review process.

Funding preference will be given to projects that:

All grant recipients will be required to complete an evaluation of their project, including expense verification, in order to be eligible for future grants.
